Biography

2026: Played in all 56 games, making 54 starts… named to the Big South All-Academic Team… batted .256 (51-for-199) on the year… led the team in home runs (11) and RBIs (36)... ranked tied for seventh in the Big South in homers… finished second on the team in total bases (93) and third on the team in slugging percentage (.467) and walks (20)... recorded 14 multi-hit games, tying Guilford for the second most on the team… produced multiple RBIs in 10 games to lead the team… had a nine-game hit streak and 10-game on-base streak during the season… delivered four three-RBI performances… posted a season-high four hits in the season opener, leading PC to an 8-6 win over Akron on February 13… finishes his PC career with 22 homers, good for tenth in program history and tied for fourth in the DI era… named to the CSC Academic All-District Team.

2025: Played in all 51 games with 45 starts… led the team in RBIs (42), ranked second in total bases (83), and fourth in slugging percentage (.459)… batted .243 (44-for-181) with 28 runs scored… recorded 11 doubles, two triples, and eight home runs… drew 10 walks and was hit by three pitches… stole nine bases in nine attempts, tied for second on the team… went 4-for-4 against UNC Asheville on March 29… named to the CSC Academic All-District Team.

2024: Did not see action during the 2024 season.

2023: Made 24 appearances with a pair of starts as PC’s designated hitter… hit .292 over his 24 at bats as he tallied seven hits with three homers and a double… knocked in five runs while scoring eight runs… posted a .500 (5-of-10) average with a double, two homers and four runs in final three game series at Radford… tallied a 1.200 slugging percentage in the series… earned Big South Freshman of the Week honors after Radford series… served as a pinch runner in five games…

Before PC: Totaled a .354 average with 19 runs driven in during his senior year at Peachtree Academy… was a 2022 All-State and All-Region selection… was a part of a pair of state championships in 2018 and 2022… 2020 & 2021 Perfect Game Underclassman All-American Honorable Mention… 

Personal: Amman Dewberry was born in Detroit, Mich.… he chose to come to PC because it felt like the best environment for both baseball and academics… he intends to major in business administration with data analytics…
