Biography

2014: Played in 45 games, including 10 appearances on the mound… Started 45 games in the infield and two on the mound… Earned a save by throwing 1.1 hitless innings against UNC Asheville (3/14)… Started two games against Wofford (3/19) and Furman (3/25), throwing five innings against Wofford… Did not allow a single run in his first five pitching appearances of the season, spanning 6.1 innings… Drove in two RBI against Northeastern (3/8) and VMI (3/22)… Went six games without striking out at the plate… Posted three hits against Northeastern… Stole five bases on seven attempts… Struck out two against Campbell (4/5) in a single inning.

High School: Played at Stratford High School for coach John Chalus…Batted .362 as a junior, named Palmetto Games Gold Glove Winner and 2010 Underclassmen Honorable Mention Perfect Game… Batted.394 as a senior and received AAAA All-Region honors, as well as earning selections for the North South All-Star Game and Diamond Prospects All-Academic Team... Also ranked in the top 1000 nationally by Perfect Game for 2011, and was a Dixie Major National Champion Runner-up in 2011... Maintained a 4.2 grade point average.
