Trey Polewski is in his first season as an assistant coach. Polewski joined the Blue Hose coaching staff after spending the previous two seasons as an assistant coach at Georgia College & State University.
"I am extremely excited about the addition of Trey Polewski to our coaching staff,” said Pollock, who is entering his 20th season at the helm of the Blue Hose baseball program. “He is a man of faith and integrity and has a true passion for teaching the game. His work ethic and energy have immediately impacted our players. I look forward to watching him develop and flourish in his new position."
At Georgia College & State University, he was the hitting and infield coach for the 2022 and 2023 seasons. During his two seasons at GCSU, he coached seven players who earned All-Peach Belt Conference accolades.
Summer of 2023, he was an assistant coach for the Coastal Plains League’s Lexington County Blowfish, where he helped guide the Blowfish to the CPL Championship.
Before beginning his coaching career, he played college baseball at Armstrong State and Tallahassee Community College, and for the last three years of his collegiate career, he played at USC Aiken. Polewski played second base as a freshman and then played on the left side of the infield at either third base or shortstop for the rest of his college career.
The Aiken, South Carolina native graduated from USC Aiken with a Bachelor’s degree in secondary education with a concentration in social studies in 2021. In 2023, he graduated from Georgia College & State University with a Master’s degree in education with a concentration in instructional technology.
“I am extremely grateful and excited to be a part of the Presbyterian College baseball program,” Polewski said. “I cannot thank the Presbyterian College administration and Coach Pollock enough for allowing me to continue to coach the game I love at PC. I look forward to giving my very best and the opportunity to build relationships with the team, coaching staff, and the community of Presbyterian College.”
