High School: Played three years of varsity baseball as a first baseman at Eastside High School, capturing two straight All-County, All-Area and All-Region honors in 2012 and 2013... Was named the 2012 Region Player of the Year thanks to a .518 batting average, 40 RBI and seven home runs... As a senior, batted .341 with 31 RBI, six home runs and seven doubles.
