2024: Thornton picked right back up where he left off in another memorable senior season, lining up 49 tackles (sixth-most on the club) along with 24 solo stops from the safety position...Started the final 10 games after shaking off an early injury scare, snaring two interceptions for the second season in a row...Both of those INT's came inside Bailey Memorial Stadium, the first against eventual PFL regular season champion Drake that he returned for 21 yards...His second and fourth-career pick came in his last-ever game against #23 Butler, a marquee matchup that PC won 30-27 (the school's first-ever W over a nationally-ranked opponent)...Notched a season-best eight tackles against Big South member Gardner-Webb (9/21), while adding up for 19 stops in the team's season-ending four-game winning streak (the program's longest in 17 years)...Tackled six ball-carriers in back-to-back games to wrap up his stellar two years, adding two pass breakups in a road route over Marist (11/16)...Blocked a field-goal attempt in the home opener against Virginia-Lynchburg and acquired 2.5 tackles behind the line of scrimmage...Recovered a second-half fumble as the Blue Hose blew out Dayton (11/2), helping Presbyterian keep an undefeated record in the month of November for the first time since 2002...Named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District team for the second consecutive season.

2023: Was a major player in Presbyterian's secondary after transferring to the program from Wagner, picking up 61 tackles (second-highest number on the roster) while starting all 11 contests...Named All-Pioneer Football League Honorable Mention after posting five tackles behind the line of scrimmage, the most of any defensive back for the Blue Hose...While lining up at safety, he picked off two conference opponents (Butler and Morehead State) while adding three pass deflections to his credit...The aforementioned INT against the Eagles helped Presby seal a season-ending 31-27 win at Bailey Memorial and a three-win increase from the previous campaign...Tallied his first sack in a PC uniform against Davidson (10/28) on the road, following that up with a career-best 12 tackles in Clinton versus San Diego...Was a fixture in the team's elite pass defense, a unit that surrendered only 144 yards through the air per game (the third-lowest figure of anyone in the nation at the FCS level)...Added an earlier double-digit tackling effort in a massive W over Wofford (9/16), the first time in history that a PFL school defeated a member of the Southern Conference...Managed at least six stops against five separate adversaries...Included on both the All-PFL Academic Second Team and College Sports Communicators Academic All-District team after putting together an impressive 3.74 GPA (Business Administration major with a double concentration in Accounting & Management).
