Veccharella comes to PC after spending the past five seasons working in various roles on the defensive side of the ball at Keiser University.

In 2017 he started as the school's outside linebackers' coach as he worked to help build the program from a start up to 150-man roster. He helped coordinate the positional meetings, broke down and analyzed film for the defensive staff. He helped design all the football team graphics including signing day and commit graphics. He spent the 2018 season working with the corners and special teams as he continued to break down defensive film.

Veccharella in 2019 began working with the linebackers while continuing to work with special teams and coordinated kickoffs. During those three seasons, Keiser totaled 24 wins including three conference titles. In 2020, the defense was fourth in the nation in scoring defense and total defense per game while ranking sixth in opponents third down conversions.

In 2021, the defense ranked sixth in sacks and 15th in scoring defense. He's coached three all-conference first team linebackers and the conference player of the year during his three seasons with the linebackers.

During his playing career he played in all 43 games as a linebacker at Saint Joseph's College. He totaled 28.5 tackles for loss and was a first-team honoree by the conference. He was voted to the leadership council by his coaches and was selected a captain during his senior year.
