Traynham joins the Blue Hose after spending the past year and a half as the volunteer coach at Limestone working primarily with the wideouts during his time with the Saints.

Before joining the coaching ranks he played at Clemson as a graduate student before his time with the Tigers he played at Wofford and Limestone. 

While at Wofford, Traynham was a part of a pair of SoCon championship teams which earned them back-to-back playoff appearances. He was a 2x All-SoCon Academic Team honoree. He played in three contests during the 2018 season with the Terriers. 

During his year with the Tigers, he saw action in contests against Charlotte, Wofford, and Wake Forest on the Clemson special teams unit. He was an ACC Honor Roll honoree.

He was a part of a Tiger program that won the ACC Atlantic Division Title along with winning the Fiesta Bowl and participating in the national championship against eventual champion LSU.
