Jared Brugmann was elevated to the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach for Presbyterian College athletics in July of 2021. He initially came to PC in 2020 and served as the Director of Strength and Conditioning for the Blue Hose basketball programs during the 2020-21 season.
Brugmann arrived at PC after spending two years as a graduate assistant at Northern State University in South Dakota. While at NSU, he worked primarily with the cross country, swimming and track and field programs, and assisted with the basketball programs.
Prior to Northern State, Brugmann spent a year at South Dakota State, working with the Jackrabbits' football, wrestling and volleyball programs. During a stint at Creighton University, he worked with the basketball, soccer, baseball, volleyball, softball, golf and rowing programs. He's also worked with the baseball, tennis and swimming & diving teams at his alma mater, University of Nebraska-Omaha.
A native of Gretna, Neb., Brugman played football at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln for two seasons, and was a three-time member of the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll. In both 2016 and 2017, he was selected to the Brook Berringer and Tom Osborne Citizenship Teams.
Brugmann is CSCS, NSCA and First Aid/CPR/AED certified.
Brugmann graduated from the University of Nebraska-Omaha with a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science in 2019 and a master's degree in Sport Performance and Leadership in 2020.
