Biography

In his college career which includes Presbyterian and Francis Marion, he scored 1,483 points and grabbed 722 rebounds...Scored 645 points and grabbed 330 rebounds during his career at PC.

2022-23:
Preseason Second Team All-Big South selection…Had season-ending surgery to repair a torn labrum in his right hip, and saw action in seven games...In his first action of the season after missing the first four games of the season due to an injury, he scored 15 points (6-for-10 from the field and 2-for-3 from beyond the three-point arc) in 23 minutes of action against Bucknell (November 21)...Nearly recorded a double-double with 14 points (4-for-4 from the free throw line) while grabbing nine rebounds against UAlbany (November 22)...Scored a game-high 19 points (7-for-11 from the field) against College of Charleston (December 6)...Scored 16 points (shooting 8-for-10 from the field) while dishing out a career-high five assists in his final game of the season at South Carolina (December 11).
 
2021-22: Recorded 17 double-figure scoring games…Finished fourth in the Big South in rebounding collecting 6.5 boards per game to go along with chipping in 12.2 points per game…Tallied three double-figure rebounds games and grabbed at least six boards in 21 games…Scored a career-high 29 points (shot 12-for-16 from the field) while grabbing eight rebounds against UNC Asheville (Jan. 29)...Scored 26 points (shot 11-for-16 from the field) while grabbing nine rebounds with three assists and two block shots at College of Charleston (Dec. 12)...Recorded a double-double with 22 points and 12 rebounds in the win over VMI (Nov. 12)...Connected on the tying and game-winning free throws with six seconds left in overtime against VMI….Collected his second straight double-double with 11 points and 13 rebounds against The Citadel (Nov. 15)...Scored 11 points at Cincinnati (Nov. 18)...Scored a team-high 19 points (7-for-10 from the field) with six rebounds at North Carolina A&T (Jan. 5)...Grabbed a game-high 10 rebounds in the win over Campbell (Feb. 2)...Scored 17 points against High Point (Feb. 9)...Scored 18 points (shooting 8-for-14 from the field) while grabbing six rebounds at Winthrop (Feb. 12)... Did not play in the USC Upstate game (Jan. 8) due to a shoulder injury...Scored 17 points with a career-high four blocked shots at USC Upstate (Feb. 16)...Strong all-around game with 19 points (8-for-12 shooting from the field), nine rebounds, four assists, and two blocks in the win over Charleston Southern (Feb. 23)…Scored 20 points and grabbed nine rebounds against Campbell (March 2) in the Big South Conference Tournament.
 
2020-21: Due to changes in the NCAA transfer rule Hill was eligible in mid-January after transferring from Francis Marion ... Played in 16 games, and started in 14 ... In his first PC game he recorded the season's second double-double with 12 points and a team-leading 12 rebounds ... Scored 24 points in game two against Campbell, his 11-of-14 effort from the charity stripe tied for fifth and sixth, respectively, in the PC Division I record book ... Led the team in scoring and rebounds in the first game against High Point with 14 points and six rebounds ... Recorded a career-high five steals in the second USC Upstate game, which tied for fourth in the PC DI record book ... Recorded 12 double-figure scoring games and paced the team in rebounds with 6.1, and was second in scoring with 12.1 …

Previous School: Hill was a two-year varsity player at Francis Marion ... As a sophomore, Hill led the Peach Belt Conference in scoring and rebounding averaging 21.1 points and 9.3 rebounds per game ... He was an All-Conference selection while also being named National Player of the Week once and Conference Player of the Week twice during his sophomore campaign ... As a freshman, Hill played an integral role in helping FMU receive a berth to the NCAA Tournament ... He averaged 9.6 points and 5.0 rebounds per game. He scored in double figures 13 times during the 2018-2019 season ... 
 
High School: Hill played at Irmo High School for legendary coach Tim Whipple from 2013-2017 .. He was a three-year starter who helped lead Irmo to back-to-back state championships in 2016 and 2017 ... Hill was selected to the All-Region team as a junior and senior ... As a senior, he was an All-State selection and played in the NC/SC All-Star Game for the top seniors in the state of North Carolina and South Carolina.
 
Personal: Hill chose the Blue Hose because PC coaching staff felt like home ... He's heard nothing but good things about coach Ferrell from everybody and he can't wait to get to campus so he can start training and getting ready ... Hill is the son of Kent and Tracy Hill, and he has an older brother, Xavier, who played basketball at Newberry.
