McKee completed his first season on the Blue Hose women's basketball staff after serving as a graduate assistant for the University of Mobile women's basketball team.
As a team, the Blue Hose broke 10 team DI single-season records throughout the season including points/game (64.9), field goals made (748), points (1,947), rebounds (1,141), defensive rebounds (841), defensive rebounds/game (28.0), assists (429), assists/game (14.3), field goal pct. (43.4%) and field goals attempted (1,723).
McKee contributed to the player's development. His efforts paid off in the form of one All-American honorable mention, one Defensive Player of the year, eight All-Conference selections, and one All-Freshman selection. Before his time at Mobile, He was an assistant coach at Petal high school, where he helped the program to two straight MHSAA playoff appearances. During his time at Petal, He was a part of assisting three kids in development and eventually played basketball collegiately. Myla Cox- Brown University, Tatyana Pittman- Savannah State, and Jada Arrington- University of Mobile.
McKee was the head team manager for Southern Mississippi, where he oversaw all the student managers, handled inventory control of athletic gear, and helped coordinate the logistics for the team during game days.
The Louin, Mississippi native, earned an Associate's degree of Arts from East Central Community College, a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies from the University of Southern Mississippi, and a Master's degree in Higher Education Leadership and Policy in May 2022 from the University of Mobile.
