Biography
2023-24: Was one of five PC players to compete in all 36 games during the 2023-24 season... scored 133 points with an average of 3.7 points per game which included three 10-point games... led the team with a 52.8 shooting percentage (which is the fourth best in the school's DI history) while making 56-of-106 of her attempts... went a perfect 5-of-5 from the field against NC Central... brought in 143 rebounds including 66 offensive boards with an average of 4.0 per game... she recorded a season-high of 17 rebounds against CIU on New Years Eve which put her second in the program's DI record books for individual game achievements... went 52.5 percent from the free throw line at 21-of-40... also added 30 assists, four steals, and four blocks to her efforts... named to the CSC All-District team.
2022-23: Saw action in all 30 games with eight starts for PC… averaged 5.1 points/game which included a season-high 18 against CSU (2/25)… tallied four double-figure scoring performances… added 17 points in a home game against High Point (1/14)… finished second on the team with 137 rebounds… tallied a season-high 13 rebounds against UNC Asheville (1/25)… added 10 rebounds against Bluefield (12/20) and Florida (12/6)… recorded a double-double with 10 points and rebounds against Florida where she played a season-high 27 minutes… shot 63.1% (65-of-103) from the field… pulled down 49 offensive rebounds… added 16 assists, eight blocks and eight steals...
Prior to PC: Cunill spent the last two seasons at Eastern Washington University where she played in 47 games for the Eagles. She pulled down a career-high 12 points and 14 rebounds against Evergreen State in November of 2021. Prior to going to EWU, Cunill attended the Institut Guillem de Bergueda. She led her team to a Primera Catalana League Championship in 2019 and averaged a double-double with 10 points and 12 rebounds. In High School, she averaged 18 points and 12 rebounds and was selected as Player of the Year in the Preferent League.
