Clinton, S.C. (AP) - Presbyterian College jumped into an early lead, and was never headed and coasted to an easy 100-68 basketball win over Georgia State College here Tuesday.
Leading the Blue Hose was Bob Stratton with 23 points. Three teammates also hit in double figures: Ralph Chambers, 18; Ken Caswell, 15; and Bill Sullivan, 10.
The Georgians' losing cause was led by Doherty with 10.
Not once in the contest did State capture the lead and at half time, Presbyterian led 49-27.
