CHARLESTON, S.C. ? Presbyterian College opened its first NCAA Division I season on Sunday with a 7-0 loss to the College of Charleston at the Patriots Points Tennis Complex.
The Blue Hose were not able to claim a point in the match, but were able to pick up a victory at No. 3 doubles. The doubles tandem of Casey Bookout (Columbia, S.C.) and Megan Davis (Bogart, Ga.) defeated College of Charleston's Emily Dyar and Sarah Schwarz by the score of 8-5.
PC will look to try and claim its first win as a DI program in its first home match of the year at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 2 against North Carolina A&T. The match will be the first of two straight home matches for PC.
The Blue Hose will take on North Greenville at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 9.
