CLINTON, S.C. – Junior Mary Ellen Longmire of the Presbyterian College Blue Hose women's tennis team has been selected as this week's Adidas / Game One PC Student-Athlete of the Week.

In PC's final event of the fall, Longmire went a perfect 3-0 in singles at the Wofford Invite over the weekend, winning her flight. In three matches, she did not drop a single set, losing a combined 18 games. She only dropped more than four games in one set. She also picked up a doubles victory in Spartanburg with partner Keira Stewart.

The previous week, Longmire reached the final of the Big South Fall Doubles Championship, again partnering with Stewart. The duo recorded two wins in Rock Hill to advance to the final, including picking up an 8-4 victory over the No. 1 seed from Charleston Southern in the semis.

The women's tennis team will return to action in January for the spring season.
