CLINTON, S.C. – Senior opposite/outside hitter Courtney Williams of the Presbyterian College Blue Hose volleyball team has been selected as this week's Adidas / Game One PC Student-Athlete of the Week.
Williams played a pivotal role in helping PC open the season with an undefeated 3-0 record, its best start to a season in the program's DI era. Presbyterian is the only undefeated team currently in the Big South.
In the season opener, Williams led the Blue Hose offensively with 14 kills against Grambling State on Friday (Aug. 28), posting a .412 hitting percentage. She also had two total blocks defensively.
She continued her success against Northwestern State on Saturday (Aug. 29), finishing with four total blocks. She delivered another four-block performance to close out the weekend at West Georgia.
After opening weekend, Williams ranks fourth in the Big South in hitting percentage (.388), eighth in blocks (0.91 per set), and tenth in kills (2.55 per set).
Game One
The Presbyterian College athletic department partnered with Game One - an official team dealer for Adidas - on a multi-year apparel agreement in November of 2022. PC's partnership with Adidas began in 2015 to outfit the Blue Hose athletic programs.
