CLINTON, S.C. ? Presbyterian College's women's tennis team fell 6-1 to defending Big South Conference champion Coastal Carolina on Sunday afternoon at the Templeton Tennis Courts.
The match with the Chanticleers was PC's third of the weekend and the tired Blue Hose, who battled high winds and fear of rain on Sunday afternoon, managed only one singles point.
Kari Fuller (Suwanee, Ga.) obtained PC's only singles victory on the day with her 6-0, 6-4 victory over CCU's Tina Petkova at No. 5 singles.
The Blue Hose next welcome its second SoCon foe of the year to the Templeton Tennis Courts. PC will take on Appalachian State at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 23.
