CLINTON, S.C. ? Presbyterian College fell 6-1 to Charleston Southern in women's tennis action on Thursday afternoon at the Templeton Tennis Courts.
 
PC fought hard in doubles play, but eventually lost the point to Charleston Southern after all three tandems succumbed to the Buccaneers.
 
Kari Fuller (Suwanee, Ga.) won the lone point for PC. She defeated CSU's Ashley Heard in No. 4 singles by a score of 6-4, 6-3. Fuller is now 2-0 against Big South opponents. She defeated Coastal Carolina's Tina Petkova 6-0, 6-4 earlier this month.
 
Abby Diminich (Myrtle Beach, S.C.) won her first set against Aodhnait Lombard, but eventually fell to Lombard by the score of 4-6, 6-2, 6-4.
 
Charleston Southern was the second of four Big South opponents for PC this season.  The Blue Hose will be also playing UNC Asheville (March 29) and Liberty (April 6).
 
The Blue Hose will now travel on a six-match, five-state road stretch beginning in Statesboro, Ga. against Georgia Southern on Feb. 29 at 2 p.m. The following day the ladies will play in Daytona Beach, Fla. against Bethune Cookman at 10 a.m.
 
The next home match will be on March 28 against North Alabama at 1 p.m.
