ASHEVILLE, N.C.? Presbyterian College women's tennis fell 6-1 to future Big South Conference foe UNC Asheville on Tuesday at the UNC Asheville Tennis Complex.
The match was a make-up of a match originally scheduled for last Saturday at PC.
PC's only victory on Wednesday came at No. 5 singles where Virginia Waldron (Mountville, S.C.) defeated UNCA's Whitney Abbott 6-2, 7-6. The victory was the sixth of the year for Waldron in singles.
The Blue Hose next travel to Morgantown, W.Va. to take on the Big East's West Virginia at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 5. They will then travel to Lynchburg, Va. to square off against future Big South Conference opponent Liberty at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 6.
