Clinton, S.C. - Presbyterian College women's soccer made it
three wins in a row at home with a 1-0 win over Wofford on Thursday night. The Blue Hose left it late but sophomore
Morgan Fragapane delivered the win with a cracking goal on 79 minutes. The win moves PC to 3-4-0 with a trip to
Clemson up next for PC.
Both teams earned their chances in the first period as PC
registered four shots in the opening frame while Wofford tallied three of their
own. Five of the seven shots were on
goal as the keepers were busy throughout the match.

stunned PC contingent. The goal was her

on the play.
Wofford poured players forward over the final ten minutes of
the match. With just under 90 seconds to
play Wofford thought they had scored the equalizer but for the linesman's flag
going up for offsides. The Blue Hose
defense was not troubled again over the final few seconds to give PC their third
win of the season.

sheet of the season as Abby Young worked the first half making three
saves. Sara Beth Anderson replaced Young
at the break and made three more saves to preserve the shutout for the hosts.
