The Presbyterian College Athletic Department and the football team will host Fan Day Saturday, Aug. 20, at Bailey Memorial Stadium.  Admission is free and open to the public.

The event begins at 9 a.m., with fans able to pick up free schedule magnets and posters.  The 2011 PC football team will be on hand to sign autographs.  There will also be face painting, jump castles and slides.

At about 10 a.m. the team will take the field for a short scrimmage in preparation for the beginning of the 2011 season, which begins Saturday, Sept. 3 with a 1:30 kick-off against Wofford.  For ticket information for that and the rest of the home games, please call 864.833.8240.

Prior to Fan Day, Flight of the Dove will take place. Flight of the Dove is the annual cycling event benefiting Hospice of Laurens County. It is in its fifth year of serving the terminally ill in Laurens County and surrounding areas. Event organizers are preparing for hundreds of cyclists, both local and regional, to join the hundreds of Blue Hose fans attending the scrimmage that morning.
