CLINTON, S.C. – The Presbyterian College women's soccer team fell at home on Wednesday evening to Coastal Carolina in a Big South Conference match, 4-0.

PC moves to 5-6-0 on the year and 2-3-0 in the Big South. The Blue Hose stay at home to host Campbell on Saturday at 7 p.m. Coastal Carolina improves to 6-6-1 and 3-2-0 in league play. The Chanticleers return to Conway to host Winthrop on Saturday at 7 p.m.

With the Chanticleers up 1-0 at halftime, Kacey Kelley scored 27 seconds into the second half and added another goal 3:17 later to give the Chanticleers a 3-0 lead they would not relinquish.

Kelley's sister, Darbie Kelley, added the team's fourth in the 85^th minute to ice the match off of a Shelby Evans cross.

The Blue Hose registered nine of their 11 total shots in the second half as the attack pressed to break the Chanticleers' defense. PC's best opportunity of the night came in the 54^th minute when Kelly Kozera (Rome, Ga.) nearly headed in a Stephanie Allen (Augusta, Ga.) free kick. The junior's shot glanced off the crossbar and came out to Christy Schofer (Powder Springs, Ga.) who fired a shot that a Chanticleer headed off the goal line to keep PC scoreless.

Six different Blue Hose registered a shot on goal. Sophie Cobb (Columbia, S.C.), Kozera and Schofer tied for the team lead in overall shots with two each.

PC goalkeeper Jordan Broadway (Chapin, S.C.) made five saves on the night, including four in the second half.

Brianna Panico opened the scoring for the Chanticleers in the 27^th minute, converting off of a Kacey Kelley cross into the box. Panico also picked up an assist on Kelly's first goal in the 46^th minute.
