Coming off a 42-24 win over Brevard last week, the Presbyterian College football team looks to make it two in a two as the team travels to Greenville, S.C., Saturday, Sept. 14, to take on the Furman Paladins at 12 p.m.
The Blue Hose and Paladins meet for the third time in a row and second time in three years in Greenville, S.C. Furman opened up a 24-0 lead at halftime before PC outscored the visiting team 21-7 to cut the margin to 10.
Arthur Williams recorded a career-high seven receptions for a career-best 119 yards to lead PC in the game. Cory White's 11 tackles and Donelle Williams' 10 led all defensive players. The 10-point margin was the fewest since a 17-10 win for PC in 1979, a span of 14 games, all losses. The Blue Hose scored 21 points against the Paladins for the third straight year.
