The Presbyterian College football team opens the 2013 home season Saturday, Sept. 7, with a familiar foe, the Brevard Tornados. PC faced the same Tornados in the season-opener in 2012, defeating them 45-10. Kick-off is slated for 2 p.m. and will be broadcast live over the Big South Network, as well as on WKRI-i91.9 FM.
The Blue Hose and Tornados met for the first time last season, with PC coming away with the 45-10 win. The highlight from the game came from Michael Ruff, who took the opening kick 92 yards back for a touchdown. PC led by just 14 at halftime (24-10), before Demarcus Rouse exploded for three unanswered touchdowns in the second half to help the Blue Hose run away with the 45-10 win. The home team finished with 420 yards of offense and held the Tornados to 260 yards.
