Bethel Set to Begin Fifth NFL Season on Sunday

PC Alumnus Justin Bethel Named to Second Straight NFL Pro Bowl

PHOENIX, Ariz. - Former Presbyterian College and current Arizona Cardinals defensive back Justin Bethel (Blythewood, S.C.) has earned his second straight invitation to the National Football League Pro Bowl on Sunday, January 25 at 8 p.m. from University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Ariz.

The third-year player became Presbyterian College's first-ever Pro Bowler last season and will be one of two players to appear as a special teamer. Bethel has 18 special-teams tackles this season, a forced fumble and blocked a field goal in a win against Dallas. He registered a season-high five tackles against St. Louis on December 11 and four in wins over San Francisco (September 21) and Kansas City (December 7).

The Cardinals drafted Bethel in the sixth round of the 2012 NFL Draft.

Bethel learns which side he will play for in the Pro Bowl during the league's second-ever draft. Hall of Fame receivers Michael Irvin and Cris Carter will pick teams during a live broadcast on Wednesday, January 21 at 8 p.m. on the NFL Network.
