Presbyterian College's Tobi Antigha has earned a spot on the 2014 CFPA Wide Receiver Watch List, as announced by College Football Performance Awards.

"Congratulations to Tobi Antigha on earning a spot on this year's watch list," said CFPA Executive Director Brad Smith. "Antigha will be one of the top Big South Conference players to watch in 2014."

An 11-game starter this past season, Antigha led the team in receiving and was seventh in rushing.  He led the Blue Hose and was fifth in the conference in scoring TDs with eight as well.  Antigha, a senior wide receiver from Tampa, Fla., was second on the team and 10th in the league in all-purpose yards, as well as third in the conference in receptions per game (4.91), receiving yards per game (69.5) and ninth in scoring per game (4.4).

The initial watch list includes 38 returning performers, vying for the top wide receiver award in the Football Championship Subdivision. All players are eligible for awards at their respective positions; players are not preemptively eliminated from consideration.

The goal of College Football Performance Awards is to provide the most scientifically rigorous conferment in college football. Recipients are selected exclusively based upon objective scientific rankings of the extent to which individual players increase the overall effectiveness of their teams. Twenty-eight CFPA winners have been first-round NFL Draft selections.

CFPA is now in its seventh season of recognition, utilizing objective rankings of player and team performance from its data index since 2008. Former PC star Justin Bethel earned CFPA honors for his outstanding performance on special teams.

The full list of 2014 CFPA winners will be announced January 14, 2015.
