CLINTON, S.C. – Presbyterian College women's basketball (8-8, 3-4 Big South) hosts Longwood (2-15, 2-6 Big South) in the first game of a Saturday hoops doubleheader at 5 p.m. before the PC men's team hosts Charleston Southern at 7:30 p.m. The Blue Hose will aim to build off of an 84-78 double overtime victory at Coastal Carolina on Saturday and win back-to-back games for the first time since December 2. Saturday's 84 points set a new program record for scoring in a Big South game and PC will hope to replicate the feat against Longwood, who have put together two League wins and look to grab their first road win of the season.

The Blue Hose can even the all-time series at 5-5 with a win after PC has taken all of its four victories in the last five meetings. PC and Longwood played three times last year, with the Blue Hose earning wins in the final regular season contest before ending the Lancers' season in the VisitMyrtleBeach.com Basketball Championships with a 54-40 victory, PC's first-ever Big South postseason win. Longwood won the first four meetings, including both in the 1994-95 season. Keyonna Allen averaged 15.0 points and 9.7 rebounds per game last season against Longwood.

Longwood has won both of its game in Big South Conference play, knocking off Gardner-Webb (63-59) on December 28 before besting Coastal Carolina (78-74) on January 5. The Lancers have yet to win on the road this season and have dropped their last two to Radford (60-78) and Liberty (48-70). Raven Williams leads the Lancers among regular players with 13.0 points per game.

Over the last five games, Aianna Kelly, Keyonna Allen and Janie Miles lead the team with 10.0 points per game. Allen's 6.8 rebounds pace PC in that category while Cortney Storey averages 4.0 assists per outing.

PC scored the program's most points in a Big South Conference game in a thrilling 84-78 double overtime conference win over Coastal Carolina on Saturday afternoon. The previous record of 79 points was set in the conference win against Charleston Southern (79-61) on Feb. 16, 2013. The 84 tallies against Coastal stands as the most points scored by any Big South women's basketball team this season. Keyonna Allen scored 19 second half/overtime points en route to a team-high 21 points.

Saturday's win over Coastal Carolina marked PC's first overtime game of the season. The program has played one overtime game in each season since 2011 and boasts a 4-0 marker since then, with a 4-1 record in Big South overtime games. The team's last overtime loss came in a home 52-50 loss to Savannah State on January 12, 2011. PC has beaten Gardner-Webb (59-57, 2011-12), Campbell (68-62, 2012-13), Coastal Carolina (71-68, 2013-14) and Coastal Carolina (84-78, 2014-15) since that loss.

Redshirt junior forward Keyonna Allen grabbed a team-leading eight rebounds last Thursday against Radford, passing Sherece Smith's (2010-14) career mark of 402 to take over fifth place in PC's Division I history. She next needs 26 to tie Chelsea Wright (2007-11) for fourth-place.

PC dished out 24 team assists in Saturday's win, the second-most in the program's Division I history and the most in a PC Big South Conference game. Freshman Cortney Storey led the team with a career-high eight assists, the sixth-most in a D-I game for PC and the second-most in a PC Big South game behind Dria David's 11 against Longwood on March 2, 2013.

The Blue Hose boast the nation's fifth-ranked scoring defense, holding opponents to an average of 50.7 points per game. PC held Radford to 43 points on January 8 and NC Central to 33 on December 20.

PC also ranks eighth in the country in field goal percentage defense through Tuesday, holding opponents to 33.7.  PC has held 14 of its 16 opponents to under 40 percent from the field this season after limiting Coastal Carolina to 38.2 percent (26-for-68) on Saturday. The team accomplished that feat 22 times last season with a 9-13 record, allowing over 40 percent only eight times. The Blue Hose also rank sixth in the country in three-point field goal defense, allowing only 24.0 percent of shots from distance.

The Blue Hose stay at home to host Charleston Southern on Tuesday at 7 p.m. before heading to Winthrop on Saturday, January 24 at 1 p.m.
