CLINTON, S.C. - Presbyterian College (9-8, 4-4 Big South) hosts Charleston Southern (3-13, 0-8 Big South) on Tuesday night at 7 p.m. in a Big South Conference clash at the Templeton Center. The game features two teams going in opposite directions, with PC aiming to win their third game in a row for the first time this season while the Buccaneers want to put the brakes on an eight-game losing streak. PC bested Longwood on Saturday in a 53-48 victory while Charleston Southern fell to Liberty, 86-51. The Blue Hose last won three consecutive games between February 6 and February 20, when the team won a program-best five Big South games in a row.
The Blue Hose trail Charleston Southern in the all-time series, 6-11, but have taken four wins in the last five meetings. The Buccaneers snapped a three-game PC win streak with a 68-50 home victory in the first game between the teams last season, but the Blue Hose returned the favor by besting the Bucs, 66-55, on PC's Senior Day. Keyonna Allen averaged 14 points and nine rebounds against the Buccaneers last season with Aianna Kelly adding 10.0 points and 4.0 boards. The two sides first met in January of 1981, with PC's first win coming two meetings later in 1989.
Charleston Southern has dropped its last eight and will look for its first win since a 86-34 home victory over Montreat on December 16. The Bucs enter Tuesday with an 0-7 road record but average 60.4 points per game and boast the third-best three-point field goal percentage in Big South Conference games at 32.8 percent. Tatum Jarvis leads the team with 11.6 points per game while Monique Maximilien handles the boards with 6.2 rebounds per game.
Over the last five games, Rebecca Walker leads the team with 9.2 points per game. Keyonna Allen's 6.4 rebounds and 2.0 steals pace PC in those categories while Cortney Storey averages 4.2 assists per outing.
In a back-and-forth game, PC came out on top with a 53-48 Big South Conference win over the Longwood. Freshman Cortney Storey scored nine second-half points en route to a team-high 11 points. Rebecca Walker and Allie Wagner each tallied 10 points for PC, while Wagner pulled down a team-high seven rebounds.
Senior forward Noelle Carter played in her 100th career game on Saturday against Longwood, becoming the ninth player in PC's Division I history to hit the century mark. She also posted her 28th career block to tie for Dria David (2009-13) fifth in the school's Division I history.

The Blue Hose hold opponents to 29.9 percent shooting at the Templeton Center and average a rebounding margin of +9.1. The team has maintained a winning record at home in each of the last three seasons, beginning in 2011-12.
