CLINTON, S.C. – The Presbyterian College women's soccer team got outlasted by Campbell 3-1 on Sunday at Martin Stadium. The Camels scored two goals in the last two minutes of the match.
The Blue Hose go to 6-7-0, 2-3-0 in the Big South Conference, while the Camels improved to 9-5-0, 4-2-0 on the season.
Campbell scored the first goal of the game in the 24th minute off a corner from Ashley Clark. Payton Ormsby finished the play inside the 6-yard box for her fourth goal of the year.
The Blue Hose evened the score in the 79th minute. Stephanie Lee (Suwanee, Ga.) sent in a cross off the corner that bounced around in the 18-yard box. Hannah Gaither (Statesville, N.C.) put a foot on the ball and found the back of the net for her fifth of the season.
Ashley Clark scored a pair of goals in the 89th and 90th minute for her 13th and 14th goals of the year.
Sydney Fontenot (Austin, Texas) gathered six saves in the game for PC. Fontenot sits two saves shy of the second all-time saves leader.
Presbyterian faces Longwood 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at Martin Stadium.
