CLINTON, S.C. – The Presbyterian College women's soccer team got dropped by High Point 3-0 Saturday night at Martin Stadium.

The Blue Hose fell to 6-10-1, 2-6-1 in the Big South Conference, while the Panthers improved to 11-3-4, 8-0-2 on the season.

Michele Micciche deflected a ball into the goal off a throw-in in the 4th minute to give the Panthers an early 1-0 lead. A lead they would take into halftime.

Michele then headed a ball to Bri Jean-Charles who scored in the 58th minute for her fourth of the season. Bailey Beattie finished the scoring in the 89th minute when she headed in a cross from Becca Sweredoski.

The Blue Hose fired seven shots on the night and put four on frame. Stephanie Lee led the charge with three shots with two on goal, while Hannah Gaither took two shots with both on target.

Sydney Fontenot gathered six saves in goal for PC.

Presbyterian plays its final regular season match against Winthrop 6 p.m. Tuesday in Rock Hill, S.C.
