CLINTON, S.C.- The Presbyterian College women's tennis team lost to Coastal Carolina, 7-0, in the final match of the regular season on Saturday morning at the Templeton Tennis Courts. 

Seniors Greer Ransom (Athens, Ga.) and Caroline deLoach (Columbia, S.C.) were honored for their accomplishments with the team during a post-match picnic for friends and family. 

deLoach now has 48 career wins, with post-season matches still to play, which puts her at first in PC Division I history. On Wednesday, deLoach earned her 15th win of the season, which breaks the record for most wins in a single season, previously owned by Paige Oelke in 2011. Ransom, who has been out with injury for the second half of the season, finishes her career with 24 career wins, which ties her for third in the Blue Hose record books.

PC finishes the regular season with a 12-10 overall record for the first winning season in the team's Division I history. The loss puts them at 1-8 in the Big South Conference. The Chanticleers improve to 14-5 and 8-1 in Big South action. Both teams will compete in the Big South Tournament starting on Wednesday at UNC Asheville. 

Coastal earned the doubles point by winning the top two flights. 

Sara Bondar and Libby Scott defeated Brittany Nuttall (Atlanta, Ga.) and Claire-Mitchell Andrews (Tampa, Fla.) at No. 1 doubles, 8-4, and Honami Yazawa and Marie Babayan beat deLoach and Sara McBride (Travelers Rest, S.C.) 8-1 at flight two. PC defaulted at flight three. 

In singles, Scott defeated Nuttall 6-2, 6-4 at line one, Romaine Delay bested Andrews 6-3, 2-6, 10-3 at No. 2, and Yazawa handed deLoach a 6-2, 6-3 loss at line three. Bondar beat McBride 6-0, 7-6 (6) at No. 4 singles and Natalie Wall defeated Antonia Conze (Willich, Germany) 6-0, 6-0 at line five. PC defaulted at No. 6 singles.
