BUIES CREEK, N.C. – The Presbyterian College women's tennis team fell to Campbell, 4-2, in a shortened match on Saturday afternoon in Buies Creek, N.C. In an effort to complete the match, only singles matches were played.
PC earned wins on courts four and five in the match. Demi Henschel claimed a three-set win at No. 4, 7-6 (7-5), 2-6, 7-6 (10-8). It was her fifth singles victory of the season. Claire-Mitchell Andrews won for the third time in four matches with a 6-4, 6-1 win at No. 5.
Irina Karangozishvili earned a 6-2, 7-5 win at No. 1 for Campbell, while Georgina Segarra secured a 6-2, 7-5 win at No. 2. Maud Mrad took the match at No. 3, 6-4, 6-3 and the Camels won at No. 6, 6-3, 6-3, for the win.
PC is back in action on Tuesday with another road match at Wofford at 3 p.m.
