Nia Chiles used a two-RBI double to bring home Whitney Davis and Jessica Curbiera, both of whom had reached on a walk. Chiles would advance to third on the play and score the next at-bat off a Marissa Gagliano ground out to second to give the Highlanders a 3-0 lead.

The Highlanders added a run in the sixth off a RBI single from Gagliano to make it 4-0.

Gagliano and Chiles both lead Radford with two hits and two RBI, as the Highlanders came away with six hits. PC was held to two hits.

Game Two: Radford 4, PC 3
Marissa Yow hit a two-run home run in the bottom of the seventh to give Radford the comeback, 4-3, win in game two. Becky Mantel led off the bottom of the seventh with a walk to put the winning run at the plate. Yow took the second pitch of her at-bat over the left field fence to give Radford the one-run win.

After a scoreless inning and a half in game two, Radford struck first with a run in the bottom of the second off RBI groundout by Hannah Medlam. The lead was short-lived as PC opened the third with back to back singles from Ruff and Kelsie Sanchez. Megan Anderson brought the tying run in with a double to left, while a Radford fielding error brought in two more to give PC the 3-1 lead.

The Highlanders got a run back in the bottom of the fourth off a RBI triple by Medlam to make it 3-2.
