Spartanburg, S.C. – The Presbyterian College women's soccer team fell to USC Upstate 2-0 on Saturday night at County University Stadium. The Blue Hose moved to 7-8 on the year and 2-7 in the Big South, while the Spartans improved to 10-7 overall and 5-4 in Conference play.
How It Happened
USC Upstate took a 1-0 lead in the 21st minute off an own goal by PC. The Spartans then extended their lead at the 51:12 mark with a goal from Sebastian Quinteros.
Megan Serrano played the full 90 minutes in goal for PC, recording three saves. USC Upstate outshot PC 9-2 in the first half and 17-9 for the game. The two teams were tied on corners 7-7.
