Clement Vannier leads the team with four points (2G) while Sergio Pinto is close behind with three points (1G, 1A). The two were among the team leaders last year in points as well.

 

Trial by Fire

 

The Blue Hose have squared off against three top-10 teams in 2018. PC scrimmaged No. 9 North Carolina (2-1, L) during the preseason and played back-to-back games at No. 1 Wake Forest (4-1, L) and No. 6 NC State (2-0, L).

 

Returning Champions

 

The Blue Hose returned nine starters from last year's Big South Championship team. Those starters include: Clement VannierJakob LuedtkeLuca ZieglerYacine TchemmounAndrew Miller-BellVictor MenudierSergio PintoRicardo Hernandez and Adrian Edo Martin. Vannier (five), Pinto (three) and Miller-Bell (three) combined for nearly half of last year's 23 goals scored.

  

Series History | Last Meeting

 

Campbell and Presbyterian have split the 8 previous meetings, but the Blue Hose have won the last 3 contests.  Last year, PC dealt CU a 5-0 loss at Clinton, S.C., before defeating the Camels 2-1 in the opening round of the Big South tournament in Buies Creek.  PC is 2-2 all-time at the Eakes Complex.
