Durham, N.C. – The Presbyterian College women's tennis teams took home a pair of road victories on Saturday, defeating both North Carolina A&T and North Carolina Central 7-0.
In the morning contest against the Aggies, the Blue Hose did not lose a single set. Results of the match can be found below:

“We played a solid match against A&T,” said head coach Steve Brooks. “The Eagles are a good team.”
“Against NCCU we won #2 doubles quickly but got broken on a deuce point to lose at #1,” continued Brooks. “We were down 4-5 at #3 and fought back to get it to a tie breaker. Beth and Shelly played very well and didn't miss much after that.”
“NCCU is a much improved team,” concluded Brooks. “This is a good test for our upcoming matches.”
PC women's tennis will be taking a trip to Texas next weekend. The Blue Hose will face Texas State on Friday, February 1 and then take on Incarnate Word on Saturday, February 2.
