PC Concludes Fall Slate with Strong Showing at Samford

CLINTON, S.C. – The Presbyterian College men's tennis team concluded its fall schedule over the weekend with five players combining to collect 12 victories in singles play at the Pelham Racquet Club Invitational hosted by Samford.
 
"Overall the team played and competed well in singles," said head coach Eduardo Rincon. "We got to play a lot of tennis in three days and everybody won at least two matches against some good competition."
 
Notables
- The Blue Hose got off to a great start on Friday, with all five singles players winning their opening match.
- Daniel Stenger, Jaime Castillo-Lopez and Alberto Conde led PC with three wins apiece in singles play. Stenger placed third in Singles Draw A.
- Oscar Alvarez and Jonathan Bedard each picked up a pair of singles victories.
- The doubles teams of Alvarez and Stenger and Bedard and Castillo-Lopez each won one match.
 
Up Next
This was the final tournament of the fall season for Presbyterian. The Blue Hose begin their spring season in January of 2020.
