Blue Hose Conclude Play At Furman Duals

Greenville, S.C. – The Presbyterian College women's tennis team had eight players compete over the weekend at the Furman Duals with Beth Taylor, Katie Thompson and Ella Rowley each picking up two singles wins at Furman.

Notables
- In doubles action, senior Katie Thompson and sophomore Beth Lacey went 2-1 on the weekend. The duo earned a 6-4 win over Charleston Southern and 6-0 victory over Wingate.
- Junior Ella Rowley and sophomore Jessica Leeman also picked up a pair of wins. The pair earned a pair of 6-1 wins over Wingate and James Madison.
- Senior Beth Taylor and sophomore Zeba Jamal picked up a 6-4 victory against Charleston Southern.
- Taylor picked up a pair of singles wins including a marathon match over James Madison winning 1-6,6-4,10-6.
- Thompson grabbed a 6-1, 6-1 victory in her opening singles match against Wingate. She wrapped up action with a 6-3, 6-4 win over Wingate.
- Rowley earned a 6-3 win over Charleston Southern to open action before concluding the tournament with a 6-4, 6-4 win over Wingate.
- Lacey grabbed a singles win over Wingate (3-6, 6-3, 10-5). Jamal earned a singles victory over Charleston Southern 7-6, 7-6.
