ASHEVILLE, N.C. – The Presbyterian College women's tennis team begins its 2026-27 season this weekend, competing in the Emily McNall Classic on Sept. 18-20.

LOCATION: Asheville School (Asheville, N.C.)
Odyssee Bellet, Grace Katzman, Mary Ellen Longmire, Sofia Rodrigo Hidalgo, Elle Sceney, Keira Stewart, Roxy Valdes, and Paulina Villegas will play for PC.
Davidson, UNC Asheville, and Wofford will join the Blue Hose this weekend to begin the season.
HEAD COACH ALLY HAYDUK
Ally Hayduk takes over as the new head coach of the Blue Hose women's tennis program. She comes to Presbyterian after spending the 2025-26 season as an assistant coach at Samford, her alma mater. She spent the previous year as an assistant at Georgia Southern, contributing to the Eagles' highest ITA national ranking in program history (No. 65) in the first season of her coaching career.
2026-27 ROSTER
Presbyterian has six returners to lead the team this season. Sofia Rodrgio Hidalgo, Mary Ellen Longmire, Grace Katzman, Katherine Bauer, Elle Sceney, and Roxy Valdes are all back for the Blue Hose. Valdes was named to the All-Big South Doubles Second Team, while Longmire earned spots on both the Big South All-Academic Team and the CSC Academic All-District Team.
A native of France, Odyssee Bellet is PC's lone freshman. Finally, Paulina Villegas and Keira Stewart join the squad as transfers.

The Blue Hose return in October, participating in the Lander Invite on Oct. 9-10 in Greenwood, S.C.
