Men's Tennis to Visit Chattanooga on Saturday

CLINTON, S.C. – The Presbyterian College men's tennis team heads to Chattanooga on Saturday afternoon for its final match before its home opener.

"We're looking forward to another tough challenge this weekend," said head coach Eduardo Rincon. "The team has been doing a great job at practice and it has been very rewarding to see their improvement."
 
THE OPPONENT
- After dropping its season opener at Alabama, Chattanooga has won three consecutive matches.
- The Blue Hose knocked off the Mocs 5-2 last season in PC's home opener, the first meeting between the two programs.
- In that match, Daniel Stenger, Max Benson, Nicholas McKinney and Jaime Castillo-Lopez each picked up straight-set singles victories, while the duos of Stenger/Oscar Alvarez and McKinney/Alberto Conde won doubles contests to secure the doubles point for Presbyterian.
 
LAST TIME OUT
- The Blue Hose fell at Mercer last Saturday, dropping their second straight contest by a 4-3 decision.
- In the setback, freshman Teo Cariov collected his first career collegiate singles victory.
- With a win at No. 4, Oscar Alvarez improved to 2-0 on the season in singles play.
