Blue Hose Head To Statesboro For Match Saturday

CLINTON, S.C. – The Presbyterian College women's tennis team hits the road for a Saturday afternoon match against Georgia Southern in Statesboro, Ga. beginning at 1 pm. The match will be held at the Wallis Tennis Center on Saturday.

MATCHUP: Presbyterian (0-5) at Georgia Southern (4-1)
TIME: Saturday February 22, 1 pm
LOCATION: Wallis Tennis Center (Statesboro, Ga.)    

COACH ROBERTS ON THE WEEKEND
"The team is ready for another good match on Saturday against Georgia Southern," commented head coach Joel Roberts. " We are not far off and I know this team believes that."
 
THE OPPONENTS
- Georgia Southern enters Saturday with a 4-1 mark currently after a 7-0 win against USC Upstate on Sunday February 9. The Eagles face FGCU on Friday prior to Saturday's match with PC.
- GSU has a 6-0 record against the Blue Hose with the Eagles earning a 4-3 win in the last matchup in 2017 with PC.
 
LAST TIME OUT
- The Presbyterian College women's tennis team was shutout on Saturday afternoon by the score of 7-0 against Wofford. The match was held at Reeves Tennis Center in Spartanburg, S.C. on Saturday.

- Presbyterian returns home for its home opener next Saturday against Chattanooga beginning at 11 am from the Templeton Tennis Courts.
