NOTES

Black & Orange Challenge Recap...
The Blue Hose went 3-1 last weekend at the Black & Orange Challenge. Three homers helped Presbyterian knock off Akron 3-1 on Friday, with Layna Johnson's fifth-inning blast breaking a 1-1 tie. On Saturday, PC trailed 2-0 in the sixth, but scored four two-out runs en route to a 5-3 comeback win over Bryant. On Sunday, four RBIs from Kiley Kross helped the Blue Hose cruise to an 8-2 win over GSU. In the finale, PC erased an early 2-0 deficit against Mercer, but the Bears scored a pair in the bottom of the sixth to break the 2-2 deadlock and snap PC's season-high winning streak at five.

The Opponents...
Cleveland State enters the weekend 2-3, Wright State is 3-6 and Wagner will be playing its first games of the season this weekend. Presbyterian has not faced any of the three in its DI history.

Quick Hits...
- PC freshman Jenna Greene picked up three more complete game victories last weekend. She has gone the distance and won each of her eight starts thus far this season.
- Greene leads the Big South in ERA (0.93), wins (8), complete games (8), shutouts (3), innings pitched (60.0), strikeouts (73) and opponents' batting average (.132). Her eight wins are tied for fourth nationally.
