"I'm very proud of the way we competed today," said head coach Eduardo Rincon. "This one hurts, and it should, but we will use it as motivation to move forward. We had a lot more positives than negatives today."

HOW IT HAPPENED
- For the third straight match, the Blue Hose took the doubles point, winning at both the No. 2 and No. 3 positions.
- Presbyterian extended its lead to 3-0 as Max Benson and Alberto Conde won in straight sets at No. 1 and No. 5 singles, respectively.
- Coastal Carolina fought back, rallying after dropping the first set at No. 4 and No. 2 to take those matches and draw within a point, 3-2.
- Another three-set victory at No. 3 got the Chanticleers even, and CCU then picked up the match victory with a three-set decision at No. 6.
