Scotsman Invitational Recap...
The Blue Hose went 3-2 at the UNCW Invitational in Wilmington, N.C., over the weekend. Presbyterian started off with a 7-1 loss to the host Seahawks and 1-0 loss to North Dakota on Friday. The Blue Hose out-hit their opponents in both of those defeats. PC turned things around on Saturday, getting shutout victories over Georgetown (3-0) and North Dakota (4-0). Presbyterian then made it three straight shutout victories as Jenna Greene blanked UNCW 1-0 on Sunday, PC's ninth shutout of the season.

Scouting the Tigers...
The Tigers are 18-8 so far in the program's inaugural season, including a 5-1 start in ACC play. Clemson boasts one of the top offenses in the ACC, ranking second in the conference in batting average (.316), runs scored (168), hits (219) and doubles (44). The CU lineup boasts six regulars with averages at .325 or above, led by Hannah Goodwin (.373) and Valerie Cagle (.367). The Tigers' pitching staff owns a 2.86 ERA, with Cagle's 8-6 record, 2.34 ERA and eight complete games leading the way.

Greene Making History...
On Sunday, Jenna Greene recorded seven strikeouts against UNCW to reach 124 for the season, breaking PC's DI era (2008-present) record for single-season strikeouts. The previous record of 123 was set by Kensley Loudermelk in 2015. Greene's shutout of the Seahawks was her sixth of the season, which also established a single-season DI era record. The freshman sits atop the conference in complete games (14), wins (13), shutouts (6), ERA (0.97), innings pitched (101.0), strikeouts (124) and opponents' batting average (.142). Greene's six shutouts are tied for the national lead, her 13 wins are tied for second nationally, and her 124 strikeouts are eighth.

Quick Hits...
- PC has kept its opponents off the board for 22 consecutive innings. The team's longest streak in the DI era is 26, stretching from May 10, 2010 to February 23, 2011. The Blue Hose own the best ERA in the Big South at 1.88.
