Clinton, S.C. – The Presbyterian College men's soccer team has added transfers Niklas Hoener and Ndrin Maloku, head coach
Jonathan Potter announced on Wednesday.
Hoener is a midfielder from Bielefeld, Germany and has three years of eligibility after spending his freshman season at Bethel College.
Maloku, a Krefeld, Germany native, also joins the Blue Hose with three years of eligibility after spending his freshman year at Dakota Wesleyan University. The forward started in 11 games, recorded 24 points (11 goals, two assists) and was named to the All-GPAC First Team.
Both players will be eligible to compete for the Blue Hose in the 2021 fall season.
Niklas Hoener – 6-2 – 176 – Midfielder – Bielefeld, Germany – Bethel College
Prior to PC: Played his freshman season at Bethel College…Played his high school soccer at Helmholtz Gymnasium Bielefeld…Played club for DSC Arminia Bielefeld and SC Verl.
Personal: Niklas Hoener is the son of Sven and Carola Hoener…Intends to major in business…Chose PC because it's the best possible way for me to combine soccer at a high level with an excellent academic education.
Ndrin Maloku – 6-1 – 200 – Forward – Krefeld, Germany – Dakota Wesleyan University
Prior to PC: Played the fall of 2020 at Dakota Wesleyan…Started in 11 games, recorded 24 points on 11 goals and two assists…Selected to the All-GPAC First Team…Played high school soccer at Gymnasium am Stadtpark.
Personal: Intends to major in business administration and management…Chose PC because the athletic and the academic programs are very fitting to my personal goals. Also, the close contact between students and professors at PC is very helpful especially for international students.
