Wilson Paces Blue Hose at Queens Invite

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Presbyterian College women's tennis team wrapped up a successful weekend at the Queens Invite in Charlotte. Alexa Wilson won all six of her matches she competed in over the weekend in three doubles and singles matches.

NOTABLES
- PC began the weekend facing off with Coker as the Blue Hose earned doubles wins in all three matches including 6-0 victories for Jessica Leeman/Beth Lacey along with Alexa Wilson and Valentina De Sousa.
- In singles action against Coker, Claudia Sanchez, Lucianna Piedra, Wilson and Lacey each earned straight-set victories. De Sousa grabbed a two-set victory as well in exhibition action as well.
- The Blue Hose faced off with Queens and earned doubles wins from the pairs of Sanchez/Piedra and Wilson along with Madison Dennett against the hosts.
- In singles action, all six Blue Hose players earned straight-set victories as Leeman, Sanchez, Piedra, Wilson, Lacey, Dennett all were victorious.
- De Sousa grabbed an exhibition victory as well in singles action against Queens.
- In the final matchup of the weekend, the Blue Hose faced off with Wingate and in doubles play got their lone victory from Wilson and De Sousa.
- Sanchez/Piedra/Wilson and Dennett each earned singles wins in the match with Wingate.

- PC concludes its fall schedule beginning on October 29 when the Blue Hose head to the Wofford Invite.
