Women's Basketball Defeats USC Aiken in Exhibition Action

CLINTON, S.C. - The Presbyterian College women's basketball team earned a 70-60 exhibition win over USC Aiken on Thursday night at the Templeton Center. The Blue Hose were led by fifth year senior forward Jade Compton with 16 points, while the Pacers were led by Chidinma Okafor with 22 points.

Coach Sharp's Thoughts on The Exhibition
- "It's great to get out in front of our fans tonight for the first time in awhile. I liked some of what I saw and we just have to get back to work and clean up some things ahead of next week's opener against Kentucky."

How It Happened
- PC got out to an early lead in the first with a 27-17 advantage in the opening stanza.
- The Blue Hose withstood a little charge from the Pacers as PC pulled away late for the win over USC Aiken.

- Maleia Bracone added 10 points and six rebounds along with a pair of steals. Nyah Willis pulled down a team-high 10 rebounds.
- Nine Blue Hose scored for Presbyterian, and 12 players saw minutes.
