Box Score Cullowhee, N.C. – The Presbyterian College women's soccer team dropped a 2-1 decision to Western Carolina in a scrimmage on Sunday afternoon at the Catamount Athletic Complex.

Kori Lawrence scored the lone goal for the Blue Hose in the 22nd minute while
Megan Serrano recorded seven saves in just 47 minutes in net.

Scoring Summary
The Catamounts got the scoring started in the 20th minute when Rea Syska found the back of the net for any easy put back after a shot caromed off the top of the post right in front of the goal. The Blue Hose answered just two minutes later on a low striking shot from Lawrence that tied the game at 1-1
Western Carolina regained the lead in the 54th minute as Summit Dann connected on a pass with Regan Ward who fit the ball just under the cross bar for the goal.
