- The win was the Blue Hose first at the Dedmon Center since Oct. 20, 2012, and snapped a four-match skid for Presbyterian at Radford.
- Sunday was already PC's third five-set match of the season. The Blue Hose only had two contests go the distance during the entire 2019 campaign.
- The victory was PC's first in five sets since Nov. 3, 2018 against Winthrop and the Blue Hose first win after dropping the first two sets since Nov. 4, 2017 against Gardner-Webb.

How it Happened
- In the first set, an early 6-2 Radford edge was wiped out by four straight Presbyterian points. The frame remained tight the rest of the way, as neither team was able to create more than a two-point advantage until the Highlanders broke a 22-22 deadlock with three straight points to seize the opener.
- The Blue Hose began the second set on the front foot, jumping out to the early 8-2 lead. Radford closed the gap to 12-10, but four straight from PC upped the advantage back to 16-10. With Presbyterian still on top 22-19, the Highlanders notched six of the final seven points to take a 2-0 edge into the break.
- PC got out to a 6-2 advantage in the third, but a 5-1 Radford run near the midway point of the frame put the hosts in front, 15-14. The Blue Hose broke an 18-18 tie with a 6-1 spurt to get it to 24-19. The next six went the way of the Highlanders, giving the hosts to chance to finish the contest off at 25-24. The Blue Hose fought off that match point and a second one at 26-25, eventually earning a 28-26 victory to send the match into a fourth set.
- Presbyterian used a 5-0 run early in the fourth frame to grab a 9-4 advantage. Radford fought back into the lead with a 7-1 spurt, putting the hosts on top, 14-13. A 5-0 run put the Highlanders in front 19-15, but PC answered with five of the next six to level the score at 20-20. After Radford notched the next three to get it to 23-20, the Blue Hose stormed back with the ensuing five points, including a pair of service aces from Samantha Stanko, to force a decisive fifth set for the second straight day.
- Trailing 7-5 in the fifth frame, PC overtook the Highlanders with a 5-0 run to grab a 10-7 edge. Presbyterian got it to match point at 14-12, but Radford fought off a pair of match points to even the score at 14-14. The Blue Hose were not to be denied however, as Cooke iced the contest with back-to-back kills.
