Bah Scores Twice as Blue Hose Route Lees-McRae 6-0 on Wednesday Night

Clinton, S.C. – Sophomore Mamadu Bah scored a pair of second half goals and four other Blue Hose found the back of the net as the Presbyterian College men's soccer routed Lees-McRae 6-0, on Wednesday evening at Martin Stadium.

The Blue open the season 2-0 for just the second time in the Division I era and for the first time since 2013.

Scoring Summary
Senior defender Cesar Sancho continued his scoring ways as he headed in a Luca Ziegler corner kick to give the Blue Hose a 1-0 lead in the 28th minute. Nokkvi Nokkvason pushed the Blue Hose's lead to 2-0 with 20 seconds left in the half after Ziegler's free kick from just outside the box hit off the cross bar and fell right in front of net for Nokkvason to put back in.

Mamadu Bah scored his first goal of the game and got the second half scoring started for the Blue Hose when he found the net in the 48th minute. Pedro Crespo converted a penalty kick at the 53:21 mark and Mah found the back of the net for the second time in the 66th minute to push PC's lead to 5-0.

Alex Lynch capped off the scoring for the Blue Hose in the 78th minute when he fired a strike from 30 yards out to score his first goal in his PC career.

By the Numbers
- PC out shot the Lees-McRae 24-3 and had more shots on goal, 10-0.

- The Blue Hose produced more corner kick opportunities, 10-1.

- Neither Valentine Kliebe or Grayson Horton needed to make a save.
