Men's Soccer Hits the Road for Trip to Buies Creek

CLINTON, S.C. – The Presbyterian College men's soccer team makes the trip to Buies Creek on Saturday night to faceoff with Campbell in Big South action with kick set for 6 p.m. on ESPN+.

Series History
- PC and Campbell will meet for the 13th time in the Blue Hose DI history on Saturday night in Buies Creek with the Camels holding a 7-5 head-to-head record.
- Campbell took a 6-2 victory over the Blue Hose in 2019 during the last head-to-head meeting.
 
Scouting the Camels
- Campbell comes into Saturday's match with a 3-2-1 record following a 1-0 setback against High Point last Saturday.
- Jalen James leads the Camel offense with four goals and one assist on the year. Franck Momo, Alemu Mercer-Miko and Daniel Hernandez each have a pair of goals on the season.
- Samuel Lechuga has made five starts in goal for Campbell with a 2-2-1 record which includes nine saves.
 
Last Time Out
- Mamadu Bah scored his fourth goal of the season, however a penalty kick goal at the end of the first half proved to be the difference as Gardner-Webb defeated the Presbyterian College men's soccer team by the score of 2-1 on Sunday afternoon at Greene-Harbison Stadium
 
Nokkvason Freshman of the Week
- Presbyterian College men's soccer freshman defender Nokkvi Nokkvason was named the Big South Freshman of the Week for games played Feb. 22-28, as announced by the conference office on Tuesday. Nokkvason scored his first career goal Feb. 24 in PC's victory over Lees-McRae.  He connected on his lone attempt and gave the Blue Hose a 2-0 lead at the time.  On Sunday against Longwood, he was part of a backline that permitted just eight shots and four on frame.

Milestones Within Reach
- Despite the shortened spring season, the Blue Hose have a two players with the opportunity to climb ranks in the program record book this season. Ziegler's two assists on Wednesday night against Lees-McRae moved him into a tie for first all-time and now he needs just one to set the program record. The senior must also log 719 minutes to jump into second or 1214 minutes to eclipse the school record.
- Junior goalkeeper Valentin Kliebe with his next win would move into a tie for second in program history for victories

- PC returns home on Wednesday, March 24 at 6 pm when the Blue Hose welcome in High Point to Martin Stadium.
